Teaching phonics to an adult is a fulfilling experience. From our very first session back in January, her determination to grasp the foundations of early reading shines through. We explore simple sounds, build up to blends, digraphs, and tricky words, and she engages with curiosity and drive. She asks thoughtful questions, practises with enthusiasm, and keeps going even when the concepts feel challenging.

We are so proud of the progress she makes. Her commitment shows that learning doesn’t have an age limit, and her success strengthens the whole family. It’s a brilliant example of what happens when support and effort come together, and how Coritani can have a positive impact on its local community.
