Learners over the past few weeks have regularly been visiting Loubie's Cafe in Scunthorpe to improve their love of reading. In the past week, we have brought our love of Loubie's to the classroom and have written letters for individuals that may be on their own this Christmas, which will kindly be posted to local hospitals, care homes and hospices by Loubie's staff. Our KS2 and Y7 learners took great pleasure in writing the letters and can not wait to make someone smile on Christmas Day.
