CEO's Update

As another academic year draws to a close, I find myself reflecting not on statistics, results or headlines, but on something far more powerful: the collective spirit of Isle Education Trust.

Across our academies, every school has its own character, strengths and story. That individuality is something we celebrate. Yet what unites us is a shared belief that education is about more than achievement alone. It is about creating communities where people belong, where potential is recognised, and where kindness, ambition and integrity are lived every day.

This year, I have seen countless examples of our values in action: students supporting one another, staff going the extra mile, families working alongside schools, and leaders collaborating across the Trust for the benefit of all children. These moments rarely make the headlines, but they are the foundations on which exceptional schools are built.

We are strongest not because our schools are the same, but because they are different. Together, they form a Trust that is richer, more resilient and more innovative than any one academy could be alone.

Thank you to every student, colleague, governor, trustee and family for playing your part in that shared endeavour. I hope you enjoy a well-deserved summer break and return refreshed for the opportunities that lie ahead.

Very best wishes

Sarah Sprack

Principal's Update

The end of another academic year - so soon!  Its always a funny time of year, staff children and parents all counting down to the end of somethings that only exists in education.  For some its a time of celebration and we have done much of this over the past few weeks.  All of our Year 11s completed their exams, we don't need to see the results to know how awesome they are.  Our Year 6 learners passed every KS2 test and our Year 4s have excelled in the multiplications tests.  We celebrated at Glandford park and at Normanby hall for our award ceremonies this year.  More detail on these below.

For some children its an exciting time as they head off for new adventures over the summer and beyond onto new schools and colleges.  For some children though this time of year is hard, a change of routine in hot weather that disrupts their rhythm and makes life just that little bit harder.

For staff at Coritani we have been busy getting ready for the opening of our new Tribe at Broughton and the hot weather has not made it easier for them either.

So thank you to everyone, Leaners, Parents and Staff for all your efforts this year in making Coritani the incredible place it is and one I am truly grateful to have the privilege to lead.  When routines change, when the weather gets hotter, when tempers flare over the small things during the holidays always remember to be more kind, always be more kind.

Stay safe, see you all soon.
