CEO's Update

As we reach the end of another academic year, I want to extend my heartfelt thanks to all our families, staff, governors, and wider community partners for your continued support and commitment. Together, we’ve nurtured vibrant learning environments where children thrive, and that is something to be truly proud of.

This summer, we say goodbye to several valued colleagues who are moving on to new chapters in their careers or well-earned retirement. Your dedication has left a lasting legacy, and we wish you every success and happiness in the future. You will always be part of the Isle Education Trust family.

I’m also delighted to share a significant milestone in our journey. On 1 July 2025, our Trust grew from three schools to six, as Alkborough Primary Academy, Kirton Lindsey Primary Academy, and Burton upon Stather Primary Academy officially joined us. Each brings its own rich heritage and community spirit, and we are excited to walk forward together—sharing expertise, strengthening collaboration, and ensuring every child receives the very best education.

As we look ahead to a new academic year, I hope the summer break brings rest, joy, and time with loved ones. Thank you for being part of our story.

Very best wishes

Sarah Sprack

CEO Isle Education Trust

Principal's Update

Moving close to the summer is always a strange time of the year at Coritani.  A time of celebration for all the hard work that has gone in to the year. A time of refection, on our successes and identifying areas we can all do better in next year. A time of transition, for those moving on to new schools and colleges.  So it is period we look on with joy and a tinge of sadness.

We couldn't be more proud of all our learners this year, we have the highest attendance the Academy has ever seen, we still have no exclusions for the 8th year in a row. All of our year 6 learners and all of our year 11 learners sat their exams and did themselves proud.

So as we move forward into the summer, no matter where your destination is this year be proud of what you have achieved this year at Coritani and look forward to the future with confidence that you are ready to inspire excellence.

Happy Holidays everyone, stay safe over the summer and we will see you all back here on the 2nd September.

Dave Flowitt

Executive Principal
